When I got my puppy I got the potty pads that are used for people and I had no idea that they were not really "water proof" and little did I know pee was getting through to my carpet and when she would pee there would be a yellow stain. With theses potty pads really are water proof and I don't see the pee stain after she pees so when company comes over it just looks like a tan rug on the floor. My dog is a 13 pound shih tzu.Works really well for our senior pup as she doesn’t always hit the puppy pads, I purchased the larger ones and put a disposable pad on top, works really well to save my laundry room floor, you get two so I can ash one while using the otherWe use this and place a pee pad on it to stop overflow from disposable pee pad. Works great for stopping pee from going all over the floor. Plan to use it for our younger niece and nephew to put under the fitted sheet. Absorbs liquid well.These pads are excellent. I have two older dogs who will not pee outside in the rain, so I've just resigned myself to having pads in place to protect my floors. I bought them a year ago, and I just bought my second set--not because they wore out, but because it is more convenient to have multiple sets. I love the fact that there are two pads in each set. The pads are very absorbent; they will hold a dog's full bladder without leaking. They will get full of dog pee, so they are going to smell when they are wet! The trick to getting them clean is BLEACH. I wash them on heavy duty, with 1/2 to 3/4 cup bleach, and they come out clean every time. The bleach does not affect the color of the pads.I bought 2 of these. While I wash the soiled pad in the washing machine I have a clean one to put down. I use disposable pee pads to lay on top of this and it works like a charm. My 2 year old Chihuahua never went outside to relieve herself even as a puppy. Not for lack of trying! She would looked so puzzled when I tried to teach her to go outside in the rain or cold winter. She was born to a litter of pups who used a pee pad in the bathroom of there breeder and I guess it stuck in her head that is what she was supposed to do.I love these quilted pads that are large and have rubber grips on the bottom to keep them secure. The liquid will not leak out but will stay in the pad. Love them!Nice size, at first I had difficulty knowing which side needed to be facing up, then I re-examined the pictures online and noticed a signature on the up side, using as a just in case for a puppy, not trying to encourage peeing in the house, so far they are doing their job, love reusable and easy clean. I put them around my toilet and I know so many people who do the same so I wish they made the shape that fits around the toilet but apparently nobody does. They are wonderful. After some research, I decided on these. At two to a package, I got two packs, to cover her favourite spots and have a spare.I am more very satisfied with the purchase. So far, they've caught all the urine, without leaking, and without smell. They wash up fine in cold water, no need for detergent. To protect their value, I flat dry , so I can't say how they react to heat drying. Then they do it again with the same performance. I absolutely love these Trendy pet mats. I have a little dachshund that looses control due to anxiety & when we leave the house.This mat keeps him dry and it's so easy to wash in the laundry machine. I've tried many matts and none of them have been this nice and doing the job that they need to do. Thank you so much. This is a great product.I have had the pads now for about 6 months... I have never used fabric softner or dried them in the dryer... they are just as good as when I bought them.. I have 7 dogs (little tykes) that use them, and they are indoor dogs, due to my disabilities.. so they are used ALOT. I have 4 of them so far, so I can rotate them 2 are washed and drying while I use the other 2.. The only downside to this product is the cost. It in no way cost very much to make them, they could be cheaper... I would buy more if they wereMy doggo tends to sit at the front door waiting to be let out. No barking or any other indication that she needs to go. If we don't see her there or get her telepathic signals in time she will widdle right at the front door. That's where I put the mats. I now have 4 mats on a rotation at the front door. They work very well at saving the carpet, and doggo seems to understand their purpose better than any other measures I've tried, including very expensive grass patches! I am 100% satisfied.
