Product arrived as described. Easy to inflate. It's small and my tall, 9 year old nephew had a hard time bending his knees for long periods but the 6 year old was comfortable on it. The tube will roll if the riders lean hard in one direction, so young riders should be comfortable falling off! ;) The kids had fun on it and enjoyed tipping it over with three riders.Durability holds up. Stability isn't all that great; it's hard to get on from in the water. It pulls well and is stable when towed; it's just the initial Stability when getting on. It pulls so straight and true that it doesn't get out of the wake of the boat - to me that makes it very safe for younger kids. Speaking of younger kids, the 3-seater is properly sized for 3 youngsters - throw a full-sized adult on there with a youngster and the 3rd seat doesn't work very well and is even more unstable when getting on. Forget trying to get on from in the water - best option it to mount it from the boat. Also for an adult rider, don't expect to want to stay on it very long - the kneeling ride position gets uncomfortable. But again, put 2 youngsters on the 3 seater and it will tow straight and true behind the boat and will hardly want to step out of the wake giving them a fairly safe ride. As they get older, they'll want something else that gives a little more action behind the boat.this is a fun tube to ride on if you like to fall off, it's really funWe took 3 adults on this and it was so much fun although the last rider struggled to stay on definitely great for 1 or 2 riders or 3 kids/teens made some great memories with this and it's not very common to see on the lake so that make it more specialBought this inflatable the end of May for this summer's boating season. We have used it all season and this is what I have experienced:Pros:- Hot dog uses a heavy durable outer shell to hold the three bladders. Overall, this is a very well-built, quality inflatable.- Though only the center section has a boston valve, the pinch valves on the two outer sections use the same size connector as the fill valve on the boston valve (so if you are using an electric pump to inflate the bladders, you don't need to change the end on your pump). This made filling all three sections quick and easy.- The handles are well padded and comfortable to hang on to. The neoprene seats are also very comfortable.- The boston valve in the center has a high quality velcro cover. The outer ring of the valve is hard plastic and helps keep the bladder from "bubbling" out of the our shell.Cons:- the first 3-4 times using this inflatable, it held air all day without needing to be re-inflated. Now, every time we inflate this, after using it for 10 minutes, we need to add air to it. Usually once we add air to it the second time, it is good to go for the rest of the day. This is inconvenient being that there is not electricity or an air station by the boat landing on the lake we frequent.- The valve area of the two outer sections is poorly designed. As I stated these are pinch valves, which does not pose a problem, however, once the bladder is fully inflated, the bladder has a tendency to "bubble" out of the outer cover's opening. If the side valves followed the same design as the center valve, this would not be an issue. This is probably the reason for needing to re-inflate the hot dog after a few minutes of use. The bladder is stretching out of the outer cover's holes.- the two outer section bladders no longer are aligned properly within the outer cover. I am not able to reach very far inside the cover to straighten them out due to the small hole where the pinch valves are. I also attribute this to the fact the two outer bladders have stretched because of the poor side valve cover designs.- prolonged use will cause your knees to burn (like a rug burn). Where you kneel on this inflatable there is no padding, so you are kneeling directly on the cover which is made from woven nylon. It would have been nice to see them stitch the same neoprene used for the seats on the outer edges to protect your knees. This would make the hot dog extremely comfortable to ride, but without it, your knees will burn after a while.Other thoughts:- this inflatable is very fun to ride. It is not a wild ride as getting outside of the wake rarely happens.- This inflatable offers a smooth ride even in rougher water. We own several other inflatables that are wild, especially on rough waters, so this is a great addition to our collection.- it is a little tough to get back on this in open water. This is not exactly a con, but this does sit higher in the water so it may be difficult for larger adults to get back on it. After a few times, once you figure out how to get back on it, this is not an issue. We have had a blast using this all summer and it has held up very well. We look forward to using through the end of this season, and many more seasons to come. This inflatable would be almost perfect if it didn't have the bladder "bubbling" and stretching issues on the two side sections as having to re-inflate this twice is very inconvenient. Also, if they added some pads for your knees that would be a HUGE plus.I gave this rating 4 stars because aside from the few flaws, this is a very good inflatable and is very well built. Kids and adults alike have really enjoyed riding it. I anticipate that this will be durable enough to be used for many more seasons.I received this tube last winter and did not open the box until July 4th. Unfortunately the main tube was leaking. I WAS able to patch the tube, but I notified Airhead of the problem and filed a warranty claim. I sent a picture of the hole, and a copy of the receipt. Within 1 day I was notified that my warranty claim was approved, and a week later a new tube arrived at my door step! AWESOME! This is a company that takes customer satisfaction seriously. Great tube - grandkids love it!It took them a bit to figure out they needed to lean into curves but after that, it was a blast. This hotdog was a hit for kids and adults. It's well made and very durable. It made our lake vacation so fun.Yes very goodI bought this inflatable as a gift to my family, and opened it one month after the date for return, so I am stuck with it. Firstly, after inflating it for its inaugural use, it promptly lost air, making it floppy and unusable as a flotation device. I checked the three air input locations and it seems that two of them don't seal properly. Secondly, the tow rope attaches so low, that the rope causes water to stream up into the face of the person on the front of the tube. My family has used tubes for years and this one is unsatisfactory by comparison. I would give it a higher rating but the fact it loses air makes a waste of money.I got this for our cottage for the kids (11 and 13). I was skeptical at 1st that it would be flimsy and cheap and that it would be unstabble and flip easily. To my surprise its built like a tank, not even afraid of damaging it. As for the Stability on water it was absolutely amazing, it was pretty hard to get the kids to fly off .... but it was doable lol. Great product and very very happy with this purchaseI purchased the Airhead HD-2 Double Dog towable to attach to our boat. I is so much fun for young and adults. I recommend to purchase the corresponding attachments and rated ropes for this product to avoid incidents. I recommend AirHead and Amazon, it worked for me.We finally have time to open the product because it was bought as a gift. The air valve (clear part) is deformed thats why it doesnt make a good seal around the red cover cap.it is suppose to be flexible so it conforms to the round shape of the cap but it doesnt. It retains an oblong shape.
