I just couldn't quite give this 5 stars, although I would still recommend it, and it has successfully contained my "escape artist" Hound, who destroyed 2 other metal crates, ate my couch, and also ate my mattress. LOL! The overall quality is very good. I am happy with the welding, bars, grate design floor which is spaced narrow enough so that it is not too uncomfortable for Barney (my Hound) to walk on when he tears up the blanket I put in there for him (ha!), and the heavy metal tray that catches messes. My tiny, somewhat petty issues are the hardware that came with it....I felt the screws, etc could've been higher quality and better matching (they are just silver). No biggie. You will definitely need your own tools, as the little allen wrench with the phillips-head screw driver end is really not enough to tighten everything like it should be, in my opinion. Also, I needed to use my rubber mallet to successfully connect the top part of the crate. Finally, my shipment contained TWO of the last page of the assembly instructions, which started at Step 6, and I was missing the first page(s), so I had to wing it. However, it's pretty easy to figure out. Overall, though, it is well-made and attractive (as much as a dog crate can be!) and contains my crazy Hound dog!
