This dog bed is definitely a keeper. I ordered an XL and it was much bigger than I expected ? But it definitely worked out. I wanted one that was big enough for both of my 85 pound labs. They love it already. Photos are from about 5 minutes after I put it together (which was extremely easy). I would say the XL is more 4x5 ft. Lol—I can’t believe there’s an XXL! If you have big dogs, this bed is perfect. Just make sure you have room for it.It is the perfect addition to the cargo area of my SUV. My dog never would settle down back there, moving around and getting tossed around (I drive fast). He loves jumping in and laying down on this bed. The most he ever does is sit up on it and I don't have to constantly look in my mirror to see if he's OK. And I know that he likes it, because if he didn't, I would have to lift him up and put him in - he's not shy about expressing disdain for something!Great bed. Got one for my lab a while back and it still looks fine. Recently got one for my doberman and sadly the zipper broke and the dog was able to get into it within the first night of having the bed.UPDATE: The first bed was and still is very durable, unfortunately the second wasn’t, but the seller reached out to me and resolved my issue!! Its not their fault my dog chewed through the zipper part, yet they still got my a refund to be able to get a new one! They made sure I have a great experience as a customer and for that they deserve the updated 5 stars.Got the XL bed for my boxer but the old pug loves it too. I was worried my boxer wouldn’t use it as he’s always been a couch sleeper, but he really seems to like it. Took a little work to get the cushion inside the cover but I’m very impressed with this bed. Good quality. When I need to wash the cover, I won’t put it in the dryer because I’m afraid if it shrinks I might not be able to get the cushion back in lolNot squishy soft like a gel cushion - more of a structured foam offering support for heavy pet. The faux fur fabric is soft and cover well-made. Put it in large cat bed - small cat loves it though it is 3 times as big as her. I DID WASH COVER in machine cold water, mild soap, before using it. Turned out fluffy and nice. I got it to be washable when cat makes a mess, throws up, which all cats do. That is working out well since washable.I have been sweating over buying an affordable and useful dog bed for months. I always read the reviews and go to the Most Recent ones as it often seems that many products were terrific when they first came out, but then the product and/or company was sold to someone else or some other country that now makes the product, but so cheaply that they aren't worth anything.Finally, I found this product, which had terrific most recent reviews, was affordably priced, and which looked like they weren't either too large or too small despite being advertised for large dogs. This product seems to be exactly as advertised. Finally I found what I hoped to find for over a year.I bought the large size and it fit my Golden just fine with room to spare! And, the beds were set up within minutes for my dogs to enjoy.Once I cut the plastic off the egg foam, the foam expanded immediately and I was easily able to quickly put the filling inside the outer shell with a smooth, cool side and a furry, warm side. I was concerned I'd have to fight to get it all together, but it was a snap as the generous zipper opens wide enough to easily fit the egg foam and easily zip up again.I can't rate the chew proof as the dogs haven't chewed on it and hopefully never will, but one has to realize that very little in this world is chew proof for a dog with teeth! So, if your dog is a digger or chewer, hold off until it outgrows such behaviors as any dog bed won't hold up to such actions except maybe the wood floor or a cement slab. Otherwise, I expect these beds to serve the dogs well for a long time--so much so that I bought both Goldens their own!My 86 lb. boxer LOVES his new bed ! Got him the XL dark gray hoping he would surrender the sofa to me. Delivered on time, Wrestled the foam from the plastic bag ( I didn't want to destroy the bag in case I had to send it back). Puffed up immediately, easy to zipper into the cover and we were in business. Took about 20 mins, and 2 treats for my boy to discover the awesomeness of this bed. It's a bit bigger than I thought, but it's a perfect size for him to stretch out and not have his head hanging over the side. I love it, he loves it, it's a win-win !! PS - this is NOT going back :)My dog was always scared or never liked dog beds. My last hope I got this and turns out she got on it right away and fell asleep in couple minutes. She must have been really releaxed she kept farting in bed lol. Amazed and shocked she loves the bed and is always laying on it now. I highly recommend this bed. Price is a little high got it on sale but worth it. My dog weighs 40 pounds and got size large bed.Simple is better when it comes to dog beds. This bed is affordable and practical. I have two dogs and could not afford a lot of space for two pillows. I bought an XL bed for both dogs (40-60 pounds). If you have a big big dog, like German Shepard, I would recommend XL for them alone. Now I rolled up a couple old towels length wise and tucked them in under the foam right in the middle to make it two medium beds. I would of preferred an XXL just so they had a little more wiggle room but for some reason the price jumped quite a bit from an XL.The cover is very easy to remove and put on. It’s also reversible and seems to be very water resistance on the cooler side. My dogs like the fuzzy warmer side of course. But hopefully with some getting use to they’ll be fine with the cooler darker (collects less dirt) side. Hope this helps !I'm not a typically reviewer, but this one deserved it.My dog is usually not a big fan of dog bed, he often rather sleep on the ground, on the couch or on our bed.I bought this bed so he can stay with me in my office and its now its favorite nap spot. he will actually go out of his way to sleep on it.The size is perfect, the thickness is perfect, it is very soft and does not seems to hold ''the dog smell''The price is very competitive for any other dog bed. it is by far the best i have seen.Les mesures indiquées dans la description ne sont pas bonne il manque minimum un pouce de largeur et minimum 2 pouces de longueur. Le matelas est mince 3 pouces avec la housse dessus mais lorsque le chien se couche dessus il devient très plat il n’a aucun soutient. La housse est douce et semble de bonne qualité mais le lit ne convient pas à un gros chien. Je ne recommande pas du tout ce produit pour un gros chien pis si tu commande un XL c’est pcq ton chien est gros donc vraiment décevant.i have purchased the XL size for my 70lb huksy and he loves it very much. the foam is not too soft not too firm so is pretty comfortable. but the towel texture from one side seems hard to clean, once it has water on it, the fur will all stick together and wont able to get back to the softness as before. overall is a good productGreat size but a bit thin bed and the inside is plain foam (see photo), it's not a memory foam. My dog loves it, our XXL size is very good, it's rare to find it anywhere. A bottle of water on photo - just to understand the size of my dog.And this XXL-size fits great.
