We are loving this cover. Although it doesn’t go all the way down to the bottom this is not a negative to me as it provides ventilation. Does exactly what it says, makes my dogs kennel like a cave. We have skylights in the room where her kennel is and this cover blocks a lot of the light in the morning so she will sleep longer. She has not chewed on it at all. Wanted to cover the dog's crate without blankets or towels or whatever else we were using. Just zip the front closed after he goes in for the night. He seems to love it! Fits perfectly!My hound is a super chewer and I just recently started covering her crate because we got another dog. She completely destroyed any blanket we tried, so I switched to crate covers. She's in a 48inch crate and I've discovered it's actually really hard to find a truly durable cover for a crate of her size. Most crate covers that fit are velcro. I figured out very quickly that velcro is not strong enough to stop her from getting the material in her crate. I also needed a cover that could open on all 4 sides so that I could keep a window open between the two dog crates. I tried this one because it met both criteria, it opens on all 4 sides and has zippers instead of velcro. My dog did manage to get a corner of it in her crate the first day and chewed a small hole in it, but a small adjustment to how I had it set up seems to have done the trick and she has not been able to destroy it and is so much calmer now that she is completely covered. I do keep a floor fan on next to her crate to allow for air to circulate from the bottom of the cover.Covers my dogs crate perfectly! Looks nice and easy to use.Love this crate cover! The material seems sturdy an the zippers on each side seem to be well built. I am happy with it. I just received it yesterday and it fit my 36 inch crate very well. I like the fact that it has a top that can be opened.
