WE LOVE DOGS Our mission: to produce beds that pass our Quality of Life Test: beds contributing to your dog’s health, happiness & wellbeing, that help your dog to live its best life. Our design keeps your dog’s joints young for longer. Pet guardians credit The Dog’s Bed orthopedic with restoring their dog’s mobility, vitality & helping them to sleep soundly. Dogs are family: our bed structure approximates the structure & support of a human orthopedic mattress. Our heat-sensitive mattress supports your dog’s skeletal system, its correct alignment & protects their delicate joints. Quality is the keystone of our brand. To meet our high-quality standards & yours, we use high-grade materials to produce our bed. Quality is verified by 2 international 3rd-party companies, experts in inspection, testing, verification & certification. Tests with all dog sizes & dogs with conditions such as hip- & elbow dysplasia & patella luxation ensure that our bed enhances dogs’ lives. With rigorous quality controls we ensure that our bed is of the highest quality & is delivered to you in perfect condition. The Dog’s Bed orthopedic is for young dogs too. Getting your dog our bed early on is an excellent preventative measure to keep their joints youthful for longer. Many breeds are predisposed to conditions such as arthritis making their senior years painful. This immobility leads to isolation & a breakdown of the human-dog bond. The Dog’s Bed orthopedic has been designed to be long-lasting. Your dog will be able to keep this bed for a long time, so we produce replacement covers at a fraction of the cost of replacing the whole bed. Easy-clean vs plush/fur covers? The easy-clean cover is for dogs who shed/drool or recovering from surgery & is easy to vacuum/wipe clean. The plush/fur cover is like a soft blanket.

I have purchased 4 of these beds, multiple dog household. My 85 lbs bulldog mix has arthritis and this is the perfect bed for him. Firm enough to support and soft enough to comfort him. The other dogs love their beds too. I purchased the first bed in 2018, just now replacing after 4 years because it started to sink a little in the center. I am not throwing it out, just moving it it in another spot so that he has a firmer support, it is still a great bed for naps! The covers wash well and still look great after 100's of washes. I will never buy any other dog bed!Our senior (12 years old) claimed this bed not more than 10 minutes after we unfurled it. He's basically spent the last couple of days fending off the young dog so it stays his :). Very well made. Perfect for seniors because it has great cushion and comfort but is appropriately firm so they can stand and move easily. Very, very happy with this.Okay, so, for whatever reason out dogs (110lb Rottie, 40lb Rottie/everything mix) are agnostic to this bed, which is strange because they'll lay on just about anything flat we leave on the floor.HOWEVER, one day I was doing some under-sink plumbing, which is an awkward and sometimes painful endeavor for me as a non-professional, so I dragged one of these beds over to lay on and (angels singing) it was amazingly comfortable. So now it's but go-to, work-on-the-floor pad for my aging body.Had to give less than 5 stars due to the fact that just received bed 2 days ago. I do know our elder dog is snoozing as we speak, so she likes itSoft bed for my 8 year old Akita. She usually prefers the floor cause she gets too hot on dog beds, but for the non plush and put next to ac vent and she loves it.This is a good bed. My older Great Dane loves it. Has very good support. He weights 165.You get what you pay for I guess and this bed is no exception. It came all compressed and rolled up but after a day or two it mostly refilled it's shape....still a little wrinkly on top though and that would be my only negative. It probably came back to about 90-95+% it's original shape...so not too bad.I got the medium bed with grey and black trim and I'm glad I did. Why? Because the covering is like a thick heavy denier nylon type material that stays cool (live in Florida) and is super tough. Yes though, as others have stated it can be a little noisy when you dog is jockeying for position. Think about toe nails scratching on canvas but amplified because of the mattress shape and size. So not super noisy but you will hear it. My dog is not in my room so not a big deal. He sleeps right outside the door in the hall and it works perfect. The noise is over now anyway because you get used to it. Although at first I thought my dog was more annoyed with the noise than I was but then he warmed up and after about 3-5 days started sleeping on it regularly. If your dog has trouble warming to this bed just lay on it with your dog and soon your dog will love it....I had to do that a few times too.The other thing that was hard to determine was the size to get for my dog. Luckily I get the medium because my dog only weighs about 40lbs but he's a poodle mix and very lanky. I was even considering the next size up but I'm glad I didn't. Overall, the bed is maybe a tad on the small size for my dog but he fits perfect so not to small. It's just that when he really spreads out on it sometimes his head will be off on the floor. This might be on purpose because he likes the cool tile floor but either way the larger bed would not fit the space anyway so this is it.I have heard the plush cover was not very robust from others leaving feedback but this color I got was the perfect choice for temperature coolness, material durability, and comfort and size. It's literally like an infant bed of memory foam. My only main issue is with the price but after spending the money and seeing my dog sleep on it is worth it. Also, the thick denier type cover has non slip bottom so it's not flippable, but it's also very easy to wipe off and clean if you dog gets sick and the covering does not seem to absorb odors like the cheap plush type dog beds do.One last thing....go to the website of the bed maker and read reviews etc and also information on the coverings too.Great dog bed! I've had one of these for my 75 pound dog for several years. Still in fantastic shape, very supportive and easy to wash. Love it and so does my dog.Is it meant to look like this under the cover?? Also still waiting for it to fill out and look anything like the picture used on Amazon for the X-Large dog bed! Can’t see anywhere to contact seller?my beautiful white German shepherd is now 9yrs old although thinks hes still a puppy. Initially we thought he had hip dysplasia but rapidly suspected a much worse condition called degenerative myelopathy which is like Multiple Sclerosis in dogs. We suspected this fairly quickly as my husband has M.S himself and the symptoms were very close to his condition. Currently we take him for hydro therapy and seeing a specialist vet to try stem cell treatment. This new bed was purchased to help alleviate the awful discomfort and difficulties he experiences and the vet believes the bed has enabled him to rest/sleep more comfortably and Kodi absolutely ADORES his bed. It is MUCH deeper and comfortable than his previous bed ( which he refuses to now sleep on) and doesn't sag or become lumpy. This bed was seriously worth the cost and I would recommend the red kite store and this item. Degenerative Myelopathy disables dogs who also become incontinent from the bladder and bowel so being able to remove the cover is essential and also purchase a 2nd cover (and waterproof) if wanted. Six months after diagnosis our brave boy is far less affected than he should be and seriously believe that his bed along with hydro treatments etc is contributing to helping slow the progress of this awful condition.Only had the bed for 3 days and it's already having an impact on my large (44kg) Lab who was starting to suffer from hip and joint stiffness each time she was getting up out of her old bed - once up and stretched she was fine, but those first few moments, well you could tell it was stressing her out.The Dog's Bed is really sturdy. The 15cm foam does take about 3 hours to fully expand once you have unrolled it from its packing (just like when you buy a memory foam mattress from IKEA that comes rolled up and compressed) so don't let your dog ? get on it yet - keep it out of sight.Yes, it does make you think the mattress cover is too big for the mattress when compressed but give it time. Ours is the full 15cm (9cm when first unrolled).Sophie loves the plush top and was straight on it. As I said previously, she is a big dog and I was worried the foam might sink down too much. Not a chance. This thing is just like a Tempur. So back to the reason for purchasing. In just three days Sophie's painful routine of struggling to get up (and the embarrassment in her eyes) has noticeably diminished. She's not racing out of the bed, but she is up'n'at-em fairly quickly and only mildly limping for a few steps. So glad we purchased this bed. Unfortunately, my other 3 dogs now want one!Bought this bed for my elderly Golden Retriever whom has arthritis, as the description described its suitability for dogs with this condition. When the bed arrived it looked good and was comfortable but was far too high for a dog with arthritis in her back legs to get onto or off herself as it is practically the height of a step and therefore is no use to her. It is great in theory but not practical in the slightest. Obviously the product has not been designed or tested to suit dogs whom have joint problems contrary to the product description. Received a generic email from the company asking what we thought of the bed, to which we expressed our dissatisfaction with the product - yet to receive a response.very good product, well packed and it did arrive earlier than predicted.Max our Labrador who has been used to a memory foam bed,is totally at home with his new bed.it is better quality than his past which started to hollow in the middle, but his new one is firmer and deeper and has a superior cover.also having also an inner waterproof cover prevents the memory foam sweating through the dog,s body heat..In all a good choice
